Toastle is a toaster from the early eighties with chrome cheeks and one very serious dial.
Every morning it pops. Instead of toast, it builds sandcastles out of warm crumbs: towers, walls, a drawbridge, a little moat for your breakfast.
It has never once checked the tide. Nobody asked it to build. Nobody asked it to stop. So it keeps going, one crumb at a time.
